In 20 years as the head football coach at the University of Texas, Darrell Royal never had a losing season and guided the Longhorns to three national championships. Royal died Wednesday at the age of 88. John Wheat, a historian at the University of Texas, co-authored Royal’s autobiography and joined Bill to remember the legendary Texas coach.
